Arrive at Dimapur Airport and meet the tour representative for your road transfer to Kohima. The journey takes approximately three hours, depending on road conditions. After reaching Kohima, check in to your hotel and take some time to settle in. Later, visit the Kohima War Cemetery, an important historical landmark associated with the region's World War II history. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Kohima – Khonoma – Kohima
After breakfast, travel to Khonoma, a picturesque village known for its traditional way of life and craftsmanship. Spend the day exploring the village lanes, surrounding landscapes, and local communities. You can observe traditional bamboo and cane work, interact with local residents, and sample regional cuisine. Kohima – Touphema
After breakfast, check out from the Kohima hotel and travel towards Touphema. On arrival, check in to your traditional village-style accommodation. Touphema – Kohima
After breakfast, check out from your Touphema accommodation and return to Kohima. Once you arrive, complete the hotel check-in formalities and take some time to relax. Later, depending on the festival schedule, visit the Hornbill Festival venue and experience Nagaland's colorful traditions through cultural performances, crafts, food, and community celebrations. Kohima – Imphal
After breakfast, check out and begin the road journey towards Imphal. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, visit Shri Govindajee Temple, one of Imphal's notable religious landmarks. Imphal Sightseeing
After breakfast, head towards Keibul Lamjao National Park and explore its distinctive wetland environment. If permitted, continue towards Tamu and experience the distinctive atmosphere of the border region.
