Your Journey, Day by Day
Delhi – Aizawl
After arriving in Delhi, board a connecting flight to Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Upon arrival in Aizawl, meet an IHPL representative who will assist you with a smooth transfer to your pre-booked hotel.
The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You may interact with the friendly locals, admire the surrounding scenic beauty, take a relaxing walk around the area or sample some of the region’s traditional local delicacies. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Aizawl
On the second day of the tour, embark on a sightseeing excursion through Aizawl, visiting some of the city’s well-known museums, the Zoological Garden in Durtlang, and local handloom and handicraft centres. These attractions offer an insight into Mizoram’s rich cultural heritage, natural diversity and traditional craftsmanship.
Later, visit a nearby Mizo tribal hamlet to experience the traditional lifestyle and customs of the local community. These picturesque villages are often situated on hilltops, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and valleys. In the evening, enjoy some leisure shopping at Bara Bazar, one of Aizawl’s popular local markets, where you can explore a variety of regional products and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Aizawl – Vantawng
After breakfast, set out by road towards Vantawng. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, proceed to visit the magnificent Vantawng Falls, one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Mizoram. Located in a scenic high-altitude setting, the waterfall is surrounded by dense bamboo forests and lush greenery, creating a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape. In the evening, you may enjoy a relaxing boat ride and take in the serene surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel in Vantawng.
Vantawng
On the fourth day of the tour, explore the scenic surroundings of Vantawng with a visit to a nearby tribal village. The tribal communities of Mizoram are known for their warm hospitality and close-knit way of life. Vantawang – Aizawl
In the morning, after breakfast, drive back to Aizawl. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, freshen up and take some time to relax. Later, use the remaining hours of the day to explore the nearby attractions at your own pace. Enjoy leisurely walks, interact with the friendly locals, browse through the local markets and savour some delicious traditional delicacies of Mizoram.
After your day of leisure and exploration, return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Aizawl – Champai
After breakfast, drive to Champhai, a scenic town situated along the India–Myanmar border. Upon arrival, take time to appreciate the natural beauty of the region and enjoy the captivating views of the Bilauktaung Range in Myanmar.
The remainder of the day is free for leisure activities. You may take relaxing walks through the town, explore the local surroundings and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this picturesque border destination.
Later, return to your hotel in Champhai and relax.

Champai – Aizawl
After breakfast, drive back to Aizawl. The day is kept free for you to relax and explore the city at your own pace. You may visit the local markets and shop for traditional handicrafts, artefacts and souvenirs to take home.
You can also savour some of the delicious traditional delicacies of Aizawl, interact with the friendly locals and explore nearby attractions. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the city before returning to your hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Aizawl – Delhi
Early morning, post breakfast, get transferred to the Aizawl Airport to board the flight for Delhi. After reaching Delhi Airport, catch a flight for your onward journey.
