Your Journey, Day by Day
Arrival in Darjeeling
Your memorable tour begins with your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand in West Bengal. From there, proceed to Darjeeling, enjoying the scenic journey along the way.
On arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and relax. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the nearby local markets and shopping areas at your convenience.
Darjeeling local sightseeing
Begin your day early at around 3:45 AM with a visit to Tiger Hill, located about 11 km from Darjeeling. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise views and the scenic beauty of the surrounding tea plantations.
On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, War Memorial, and Batasia Loop before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, explore Darjeeling’s popular attractions, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Gumpu Rock, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, and Natural History Museum.
End the day with a peaceful visit to the Japanese Peace Pagoda before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, check out from your Darjeeling hotel and drive to Pelling, a beautiful hill town in western Sikkim. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and offers scenic views along the way. On arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel and relax. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, either unwinding at the hotel or exploring the nearby markets. Overnight stay in Pelling.
Transfer to Pelling
The fourth day of our exclusive tour is dedicated to sightseeing in and around Pelling. What better way than remembering the Lord in your heart to start the day. Owing to this, you will be heading to Pemayangtse Monastery in the first place. As you are done with the monastery, embark on a nature trip to places like Kecheoplari lake, Rimbi waterfalls, Rimbi rock garden, and Kanchenjunga falls. Post these visits, retire back to your hotel for an overnight stay. Feel free to explore the local markets of Pelling in the evening.
Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, check out and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, located around 116 km from Pelling. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before exploring Gangtok’s attractions, including Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Research Institute of Tibetology, and White Hall. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. In the evening, you may explore the nearby markets or enjoy some leisure time.
Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, head out for an excursion to the scenic Tsomgo Lake and the revered Baba Mandir, nestled in the beautiful highlands of Sikkim. Return to your hotel in Gangtok by evening and spend some time at leisure or explore the local markets for last-minute shopping. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Transfer to Pelling
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, Bagdogra Airport, or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand for your onward journey. This marks the end of your memorable Northeast India tour.
