Helicopter operations are subject to the designated helipad, weather conditions, and official regulations. The package can be arranged for travelers departing from Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kolkata, and other major Indian cities. Your Journey, Day by Day
Srinagar – Sonamarg
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and meet the tour representative for your road transfer to Sonamarg. Enjoy the changing mountain scenery along the route as you travel through the Himalayan landscape. On reaching Sonamarg, check in to your hotel and take the remainder of the day to relax or explore nearby areas at your own pace. Overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Sonamarg – Neelgarth – Panchtarni – Amarnath Cave – Sonamarg
After breakfast, proceed by road from Sonamarg to the Neelgarth helipad. From there, board the helicopter for Panchtarni. After landing, continue towards the Amarnath Cave, with the remaining journey covered on foot or through locally available pony or palki services at an additional cost. Complete your darshan at the sacred shrine and spend some time at the pilgrimage site. Later, return to Panchtarni and take the helicopter back to Neelgarth. Your vehicle will then transfer you back to Sonamarg for an overnight stay.
Important Note: Helicopter operations depend on weather, operational conditions, and applicable authorities. If the return flight is cancelled because of unfavorable weather, travelers may need to arrange alternative accommodation locally at their own expense.
Sonamarg – Srinagar – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your road journey from Sonamarg towards Srinagar Airport. Allow sufficient travel time according to your scheduled flight and prevailing road conditions. On reaching the airport, complete the departure formalities and continue your onward journey, concluding your Amarnath helicopter pilgrimage.
