Your Journey, Day by Day
Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and meet our representative for your private transfer towards Sonamarg. The approximately 81-km journey takes you through scenic mountain roads. On reaching Sonamarg, complete the hotel check-in and take some time to settle in.If your arrival time permits, you can explore the nearby area. An optional pony excursion towards Thajiwas Glacier can be arranged locally at an additional cost. Return to the hotel later for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.Enjoy the changing scenery along the Srinagar–Sonamarg route, with green valleys, mountain slopes, and spectacular Himalayan surroundings accompanying the drive.
Sonamarg – Baltal – Panjtarni – Amarnath Cave – Baltal – Sonamarg
After breakfast, travel by road from Sonamarg to Baltal, the helicopter boarding point for the pilgrimage. From the Baltal helipad, take the helicopter to Panjtarni. From Panjtarni, continue towards the sacred Amarnath Cave. The remaining route can be covered on foot or through locally available services such as a palki or pony, depending on the arrangements and prevailing conditions. Complete your darshan and spend some peaceful moments at the shrine before beginning the return journey. After the pilgrimage, return to Panjtarni and board the helicopter back to Baltal. Continue by road to Sonamarg. The pilgrimage route offers spectacular views of the high-altitude Himalayan terrain. Take in the rugged mountains and surrounding landscapes while travelling between Panjtarni and the Amarnath Cave.
Sonamarg – Gulmarg
After breakfast, check out from your Sonamarg hotel and begin the road journey to Gulmarg. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities and take a short break. Spend the day discovering Gulmarg and its popular activities. You may choose an optional Gondola ride, explore the surroundings on horseback, or enjoy hiking opportunities. During the appropriate winter season, skiing may also be available. Gulmarg is surrounded by expansive meadows and Himalayan peaks, making it an ideal destination for enjoying mountain scenery. The Gondola journey provides an opportunity to see the landscape from higher elevations. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Gulmarg – Pahalgam
Enjoy breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey towards Pahalgam. The route passes through several interesting places and offers a combination of countryside and mountain scenery. Make a stop around Pampore to see the region's well-known saffron-growing areas. Continue to the historic Avantipur Ruins, where the remains of ancient temples provide an insight into Kashmir's past. You may also stop at the Anantnag area to see its natural springs, subject to the day's schedule. Continue towards Pahalgam and check in to your hotel after arrival. Spend the remainder of the day experiencing Pahalgam's peaceful valley landscapes. Depending on time and local arrangements, you can explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari using local union transportation at an additional cost. Optional activities such as horse riding, nature walks, or river-based experiences may also be available.
Pahalgam – Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your Pahalgam hotel and drive back towards Srinagar. On arrival, complete your hotel check-in and take some time to refresh. Later, begin your Srinagar sightseeing with a visit to the city's renowned Mughal gardens. Explore Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Cheshma Shahi, each offering its own combination of landscaped gardens and historical character. Later in the day, enjoy a relaxing Shikara experience on Dal Lake. Admire the surrounding mountains, houseboats, waterways, and traditional lakeside scenery from the water. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Departure from Srinagar
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete your check-out formalities. Pack your belongings and prepare for your departure. If your flight schedule allows, you may spend your remaining time relaxing or exploring the nearby surroundings.
